March 22, 2023 — Last fall, Mountain Home Music Company and Organic Records became the first labels in the bluegrass world to jump into the world of immersive audio, mixing select singles in the Dolby Atmos format supported by Amazon Music Unlimited, TIDAL and, as “Spatial Audio” on Apple Music. This process began with the release of about a dozen tracks in Dolby Atmos — and has continued with more singles and even full albums being mixed in the format.
Now, in an exciting new development, TIDAL has created an official, TIDAL-branded and -promoted playlist, Bluegrass: Dolby Atmos — and, with the labels’ leadership in this space, it consists entirely of Mountain Home and Organic Recordsreleases.
